of The Trusted Leader in the 92nd St. Y lecture series: Corporate
America in Crisis What Happened to Ethics, Integrity and Trust?
As if dealing with the tragedy of 9/11 wasnt enough, the
American public has been besieged the last year by unethical behavior
from some of our largest corporations and their leaders. The deterioration
of integrity and leadership in the American business community could
become as threatening to our stability and security as those threats
posed by external forces. How did this happen? How can we create
a new paradigm for ethics and morality in business? Join us as experts
on the corporate and media worlds tackle these important issues.
Companies today are in urgent need of trusted leaders, but how can
well-intentioned managers actually develop and reinforce trust in
their organizations? Is it even possible? Robert Galford and Anne
Seibold Drapeau, authors of the newly published The
Trusted Leader, will discuss why trust inside an organization
requires so much more than personal credibility.
